The News Feed feature shows you the most recent events that have taken place in your account. If you want to find out what has been changing in your account, such as whether a colleague has edited a file you've shared with her or if you're wondering who deleted a given file, the News Feed is the right place. It allows you to see when, where, who created, edited, or deleted a file. Similar events are grouped and previews of image files are displayed inline.

How to Access the News Feed via RSS/ATOM
Your Syncplicity News Feed is also accessible as an RSS/ATOM feed, easily importable into Outlook, Chatter, Yammer, Socialcast, and other desktop and web applications. You can always disable the RSS feed or change the Internet address (URL) it is accessible at back on the Account tab:

How to see more or less of the News Feed
If the first page of results is not enough for you, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Show Older Events link to retrieve more events. If you only care about specific events and you know which folder the files resided in, you can filter the event display by using the Filters control on the right-hand side of the screen. Under Only show events in folder, select the folder you wish to see events for. In addition, you can also choose to hide your events so you only see changes that have been done by people other than yourself.
View detailed information
You can easily view detailed information about who changed a file, where the file is stored, or to access the file itself.
To view detailed information about who changed a file and which machine it was changed on, hover your mouse pointer over the person's account picture (or the default outline graphic of a person if one hasn't yet been set) to the left of a News Feed item to view detailed information. Information will pop up indicating the name and email address of the user who edited the document, as well as the computer name that the document was edited from.
To view detailed information about where a file is stored, hover your mouse pointer over the file name. Information will pop up indicating where the file resides within the shared folder.
To download the file itself, click on the file name and the file will download to your computer.
Note: Syncplicity uses a service called Gravatar to populate user icons in your News Feed. You can upload your own user picture at http://gravatar.com/.
