How do I control how much bandwidth Syncplicity uses on Windows

The Syncplicity client can be set to use more bandwidth to increase the speed of synchronization or less bandwidth to provide more bandwidth to other applications. On the Windows client, you can configure this by:

  1. Right click on the Syncplicity system tray icon. If the Syncplicity icon does not appear, you may need to click the up arrow to display all tray icons.

  2. Click Display Detailed Status.
  3. Click the Configure Syncplicity link on the left.
  4. Move the slider all the way to the right to utilize all of your bandwidth. Move it to the left to use less.
  5. For our advanced users, if you want to tailor your bandwidth settings to your specific connection, click on the Show advanced bandwidth settings link. This displays bandwidth presets from Regular DSL up to LAN performance. You can also click Custom to enter in the exact amount of bandwidth your connection has.
