How do I manage computers connected to my account

To manage which computers are connected to your Syncplicity account, sign in to http://my.syncplicity.com, click on the Account tab and then the Computers tab.


All computers associated with your Syncplicity account will be displayed along with the date they were last online.

 

From this screen, you can also rename a computer to a different name or remove a computer that you are no longer using.


Renaming a Computer

The name associated with a computer is an easy way to distinguish between your multiple computers. The computer name is initially set when you first install the Syncplicity client. If you later decide to change the name, you can do so by following the steps below.

 

To rename a computer on your Syncplicity Account:

  1. Go to http://my.syncplicity.com and login
  2. Click on the Account tab
  3. Click on the Computers tab
  4. Find the computer you wish to rename, and click the Rename link
  5. Enter in the new computer name
  6. Click Rename

Removing a Computer

If your computer is lost, stolen, or replaced, you can remove it from your account. When a computer is removed from your account, it will no longer sync or have access to your Syncplicity account.

 

To remove a computer from your Syncplicity Account:

  1. Go to http://my.syncplicity.com and login
  2. Click on the Account tab
  3. Click on the Computers tab
  4. Find the computer you wish to remove, then click the Remove link
  5. Review the details of removing a computer from your account
  6. Click Remove this Computer to complete the process
