If you like using Syncplicity, tell a friend! You can earn more bonus storage for each person that creates a Syncplicity account using your personal referral link. You can use your personal referral link anywhere you can send a website URL such as e-mail, Twitter, Facebook, web forums, IMs, and web pages. For each friend that accepts your Syncplicity invite, you'll receive 1 extra GB of storage space - up to a maximum of 3GB. If you have a paid Personal Edition account, you will receive 2GB for each personal referral link up to a maximum of 6GB total. In addition, each friend who you send the invite to will receive an additional 1GB of bonus storage as well.
Inviting others to Syncplicity
To invite a colleague to Syncplicity:
- Sign into your Syncplicity account at http://my.syncplicity.com
- Click on my account -> referrals
- Click on the Refer a Friend button
On this page, you can send invite e-mails to people, post your link on twitter, or copy and paste the link itself so you can send it to your friends in any way that you'd like.
Tracking your storage bonuses
Log-in to http://my.syncplicity.com and click on the Account tab and then the Referrals tab to track the status of your referrals.
The list will show the email addresses of people you have invited to Syncplicity and their sign-up status. An email address with Pending status has been invited to sign up for Syncplicity, but has not yet completed the sign up process. An email address with Completed status has signed up for Syncplicity using you referral link, and your account has been awarded the storage space bonus.
The page also displays the total amount of storage space awarded due to referrals.
