Name
The name on your Syncplicity account is how you are indentified to Syncplicity. You can use your real name, an alias, or a nickname- however you prefer to be referred to.
Change Name

- Log in to your account with the current email and password
- Go to the account tab and click on Personal Info
- Click the Change link next to your name
- Enter in your new name information
- Enter in your current password
- Click Submit.
Primary Email Address
Your primary email address is the email address Syncplicity uses to send critical information, like lost or reset password links, billing information, or company updates.
Change Primary Email Address

- Log in to your account with the current email and password
- Go to the Account tab and click on Personal Info
- Click the Change link next to your email
- Add the email address you wish to be primary, and click Add Email
- We will send you a confirmation email to the address you have added. Please click the confirmation link in the email to confirm your email address.
- Click Set as Primary link to make it your primary email address.

- Log in to your account with the current email and password
- Go to the account tab and click on Personal Info
- Click the Change link next to your email addresses
- Type a new email address into the Add email address field
- Click Submit.
Remove Email Address

To delete an email address from your Syncplicity personal account, just follow the steps below:
- Log in to your account with the current email and password:
- Click on the Personal Info tab to see a list of all email addresses associated with an account
- Click the Change link next to your email addresses
- Click Remove next to the email address you wish to delete. You will not be able to remove a primary email address, but please see above for instructions on changing a primary email address
- Confirmation - the email address has been disassociated with your Syncplicity Account.
Change Account Association
To change the account associated with a computer, users will need to disassociate the computer from the first account and then register again with the second account:
- On the computer you wish to change, start the Syncplicity program
- Hold down CTRL, SHIFT, and click the Syncplicity tray icon
- Click OK to confirm you wish to erase your Syncplicity profile and quit Syncplicity
- Start the Syncplicity program again and complete the Syncplicity Registration Wizard using your other account information.
Change Password

Changing passwords regularily is a good security measure. To change your password:
- Sign into your Syncplicity account at my.syncplicity.com
- Click on the Accounts tab
- Click on the Personal Info tab
- Click the Change link next to the current password
- Verify your old password and type in the new password
- Click OK.
Reset Password

In cases of a lost or forgotten password, please go to https://my.syncplicity.com/Signup/ResetPassword.aspx and enter in your email address. A password reset email will be sent to your primary email address.
Cancel your account
To refresh your Syncplicity account and start anew, or to delete your account:
- Sign into your Syncplicity account at my.syncplicity.com
- Click on the Accounts tab
- Click the Personal Info tab
- Click Cancel your Account
- Give Syncplicity a reason for deleting account, then check the checkbox and click next
- Users wishing to have their accounts "refreshed" can sign up for Syncplicity again and start anew.
Please note that account deletion is permanent, and Syncplicity support will not be able to restore accounts. Please be very careful when deleting accounts, and contact support if you have any questions before processing the deletion.
